The happy couple may think everyone shares their elation, but the truth is office romances are often frowned upon by colleagues. So says a study by academics at two American universities. Intoxicated by their blossoming (and potentially dangerous) liaison, lovers who meet at work believe their fellow employees are as swept away with positive vibes as they are. On the contrary, the research suggests, workmates are likely to become mistrustful of the match made in their midst. Maybe a little jealous too.
