Police ask fans for help in making European away days safer

Police are asking supporters to participate in a survey aimed at making it safer to follow their clubs in Europe after the problems encountered by Liverpool and Manchester City fans at the past two Champions League finals.

The Uefa Competition Fan Feedback questionnaire has been distributed by officers working for the UK Football Policing Unit to all English clubs which have participated in European competitions during this and the previous three seasons.

Fans are being asked to share their experiences, good and bad, in an effort to gather intelligence that can then be shared with clubs, as well as Uefa and national associations, in the hope of improving the conditions for visiting supporters.
