Who was behind the blasts that killed 95 in Iran?
Iran has many enemies: Israel, of course, and its backer the United States, the “Great Satan”. There is Britain, the “Little Satan”, and a host of regional rivals such as Saudi Arabia.
Some of these, especially Israel, have carried out targeted attacks on Iranian targets in recent years. There is no evidence of their involvement in mass outrages against civilians, though, which have largely been attributed to internal enemies, militant groups which have a variety of reasons for targeting regime loyalists.
