Monday December 9, 2019 (Ask the Theologian) from Ask The Theologian by Dr. Randy White. Released: 2019. Track 1,018. Genre: Speech.

  1. On the saints list, why did you exclude 1st Corinthians 1:2-14, Jude 3:1, 1st Thessalonians 3:13, and 1st Timothy 5:10? These seem to fit your criteria.
  2. Most preaching I hear today is three points and an application mostly out of context.
  3. Do you think preaching has to have an application and what definition would you give for preaching?
  4. In Mark 10:15 Jesus is talking to the Jews. How could a Jew receive the kingdom as a little child? A child would not have understood repentance. What point is Jesus making?
  5. Unless I read it incorrectly, you see the day of Christ as the day of the Lord. In your book on the rapture do you still take that position? How do you see the day of Christ?
  6. How do you come to the position that Luke was not a Gentile?
  7. I had a lady claim she was a prophetess and had a prophecy for me. Do you believe someone could be a prophet today in any way since we have a closed Canon of Scripture?
  8. What do you think changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye according to 1 Corinthians15:52?
  9. How was King David’s sin of murder of Uriah and adultery with Bathsheba not given the judgment of death? Was it because of God’s covenant with him?
  10. Since the Lord’s Supper is a remembrance not an ordinance, what is the meaning and the warning of 1st Corinthians 11:28-30?
