Thursday January 30, 2020 (Ask the Theologian) from Ask The Theologian by Dr. Randy White. Released: 2020. Track 1,050. Genre: Speech.

  1. Are those walking after the flesh in 2 Peter 2:10 and the scoffers in 2 Peter 3:3 believers?
  2. Would you comment Trump’s peace plan? We understand the political view, but what about the prophetic view? It’s a two-state solution after all and is division of the land? What about Joel 2:3?
  3. Is this peace plan going to be the anti-Christ deal, Dan 9:27?
  4. Have you ever heard about The Apostasy Report from Servus Christi?
  5. Eph 1:10 says that one day all things will be brought into one. Does that mean both Jews and Gentiles with maybe no separation of kingdoms?
  6. Do animals go to heaven? How do you comfort someone mourning the loss of a pet?
  7. Could you put together a chart of NT books which identifies the name of the book, the author, and the audience?
  8. In the book of John could it be that the gospel of grace, that we teach, was the gospel that Jesus taught but He just gave it to the Jew first because of the promises given to the fathers?
  9. Have you considered that maybe John is transitional similar to the Book of Acts? Maybe Jesus could teach kingdom and free grace at the same time?
  10. What are some good verses for “once saved always saved” that I can share with my Calvinist friends?
  11. Does Jesus show us dispensation in the parable of the vineyard workers?
  12. Comment on Charles Baker: While I met and appreciate Charles Baker, I disagree with him on his take of John. I believe that Jesus’ earthly gospel was simply believe that I am Messiah and obey what I say. John mentions grace, and grace itself is not unique to the present dispensation at least twice in John it is stated that if one claimed to believe Jesus was the Messiah he would be put out of the synagogue. Jesus’ earthly ministry was solidly Jewish and kingdom.
  13. Why hasn’t your church changed its name?

  11. I have listened to Terence McLean’s videos. Are you familiar?
  12. Can Catholics be saved even though they don’t believe in Christ alone and also trust in the Church for salvation?
  13. If the kingdom is only Jewish, why does Paul write of it in his epistles to Gentiles? He seems to include us in that kingdom or am I mistaken?
  14. Matt.21:43, What is the Kingdom of God? What is the nation to whom this Kingdom is given and why?
  15. Comment: I believe that once the Apostle Paul received and began preaching the mystery truth in Acts 13 that he preached only one gospel, the grace message. It is true in his pre-prison writings, a transitional period, he used Jewish terminology that his Jewish audience would have readily understood. I believe he did this because out of his heart’s desire for Israel so he wanted to bring no offense but this all changed at the close of the Acts period.

  10. I don’t understand some of the objections to dispensationalism. Can you talk about a few?
  11. I am pretty well convinced of your “minority position” regarding the Saints. Recently I noticed in 1 Sam 2:9 the word Saints. Friday January 24, 2020 (Ask the Theologian)

Friday January 24, 2020 (Ask the Theologian) from Ask The Theologian by Dr. Randy White. Released: 2020. Track 1,046. Genre: Speech.

  1. Is Titus 2:13 a reference to the second coming or a reference to the rapture?
  2. Dr White makes a comment on a post: “Last night we were talking about the Davidic Kingdom. How big will this kingdom be considering that David’s Kingdom in the Old Testament covered a much larger territory than present-day Israel?”
  3. Why did Paul continue to go out and preach to the Jews in the synagogue’s after Acts 15 (Galatians 2) if they agreed that he (Paul and Barnabas) would go to the heathen and they (Peter James and the little flock) to the circumcision? Was Paul being disobedient in doing this or had something changed after the agreement in Acts 15? Would his gospel to the Jews in the synagogue’s be any different from what he preached to the Gentiles? Could Paul really preach two things at once if it was different?
  4. What’s your interpretation of 2 Tim 3:16 exegetically and contextually? I don’t see how it had anything to do with the production of the original manuscripts.
  5. Isaiah 65 talks about the new heavens and the new earth. Is that the Millennial Kingdom or the eternal state?
  6. Do you think that teaching the kingdom could be further extended beyond the one-year extension of Luke 13:6-9? Might that throw off the math of the 77s decreed for the nation’s?
  7. Wouldn’t the kingdom occupy the promises of the land covenant through the Abrahamic covenant?
  8. Dr White makes comments on how he deals with negative or bad comments on YouTube.
  9. Dr White makes comments on a couple of tech issues (email rejection and the audio not matching the video).
  10. Can you describe the difference between the way of Balaam (2 Peter 2:15), the error of Balaam (Jude 1:11), and the doctrine of Balaam (Rev 2:14)? What application and lesson can the New Testament church learn from the emphasis that God places on Balaam, even though these warnings are not found in Pauline epistles? Could Paul’s warnings of apostasy, false doctrine, false teachers in the New Testament be equivalent to these warnings (Could Paul’s warnings be equivalent to these warnings about Balaam?)?
  11. Are there any missionary biographies you have been blessed by and would recommend?
  12. Are there true prophets outside the nation of Israel?
